HEY! WE'RE CELEBRATING 25 YEARS!
Gee, time just flies when you're having fun! That's right, your friendly neighborhood guitar shop has turned the big 2-5 this year! But we couldn't have done it without you, our loyal customers.
First, let's give something away! Gibson USA and Island Guitars are giving away a brand new, "Made in the USA" Gibson SG Special! This classic body shape features all mahogany construction, "worn" satin brown finish, two 490 humbuckers, and a Gibson gig bag. There's no purchase necessary. All you've got to do is come on down to Island Guitars and fill out an entry form to enter the drawing. Entries will be accepted through December 17, 2009 with the drawing held on December 18, 2009.
OUR TAYLOR ROAD SHOW WEEKEND We would like to thank all of you who attended our Taylor Guitars Road Show last month. Nearly one hundred of you came in to see the presentation from Taylor Guitars staffers Steve Bernstein and David Kaye. Steve and David were pleased with the Saturday evening turnout and the enthusiastic response they received. It made for an informative and entertaining evening!
After the Saturday show, we woke up early the following Sunday morning to set up the Taylor Guitars booth at the Oahu Slack Key Guitar Festival at Kapiolani Park. Once again, Steve and David were on hand to meet and greet all the slack key music and guitar lovers who visited the booth. Island Guitars staffer Kenny Ashburn, yours truly and my son, Matthew also welcomed the crowds.
