VOYAGE-AIR GUITARS NOW HERE AT ISLAND GUITARS! Voyage-air Guitars market themselves as 'not a travel guitar, but a guitar that travels', and that really does sum these very cool and inovative instruments up nicely. At first glance and strum they seem like a very nice traditional acoustic with good action and nice tone. Then you give the quick release screw behind the neck a twist and your mind is blown as the guitar folds in half to fit snugly into the backpack sized gig bag that is designed to fit into an airline overhead storage compartment! And amazingly when you unfold the neck it snaps back into place in tune and ready to play. If you are as skeptical as I was by this concept, you have to check these out in person, they are absolutely amazing. Now you can safely take a full sized acoustic guitar with you anywhere you go!

OUR TAYLOR ROAD SHOW WEEKEND We would like to thank all of you who attended our Taylor Guitars Road Show last September. Nearly one hundred of you came in to see the presentation from Taylor Guitars staffers Steve Bernstein and David Kaye. Steve and David were pleased with the Saturday evening turnout and the enthusiastic response they received. It made for an informative and entertaining evening!
After the Saturday show, we woke up early the following Sunday morning to set up the Taylor Guitars booth at the Oahu Slack Key Guitar Festival at Kapiolani Park. Once again, Steve and David were on hand to meet and greet all the slack key music and guitar lovers who visited the booth. Island Guitars staffer Kenny Ashburn, yours truly and my son, Matthew also welcomed the crowds.
